Angkrish Raghuvanshi first grabbed attention on the global stage as India’s highest run-scorer in their victorious ICC Men’s U19 World Cup campaign in 2022. He piled up 278 runs at an average of 46.33, including a standout 144, showcasing both temperament and range at the top of the order. Kolkata Knight Riders were quick to spot his potential, signing him for INR 20 Lakh in the 2024 auction and handing him his TATA IPL debut. Raghuvanshi made an immediate impression, scoring at a strike rate of 155.23 and playing crucial cameos in a title-winning season. His rapid development and composure under pressure saw his value rise significantly, with KKR investing INR 3 Crore to bring him back at the 2025 Mega Auction. He responded with a solid campaign, scoring 300 runs at an average of 33.3 and a strike rate of 139.53. Still early in his career, Raghuvanshi has added another dimension by developing his wicketkeeping skills, offering KKR greater flexibility as they look ahead to IPL 2026.
